Launch-day kit
How to announce your new site: free graphics and QR code, three post captions, and a print card idea.
A new website is a moment. Treat it like one and your people will carry it for you.
Make your graphics
Open the free launch-day kit. Type your church name and your site address, pick your color, and press Make my kit. You get:
- A square graphic for Facebook and Instagram posts.
- A tall graphic for stories.
- A QR code that opens your site.
- Three ready-to-copy captions.
Everything is made in your browser. Nothing is uploaded or stored.
Post in this order
Day 1, Sunday afternoon: the announcement. Announce it from the pulpit that morning, then post the square graphic with caption 1 while people are still thinking about it. Pin the post.
Day 2: the invitation. Post a 20-second video of your phone scrolling the site, with caption 2. Video outperforms graphics; a shaky real one beats a polished fake one.
Day 3: the ask. Post the story graphic with caption 3 and ask three leaders to share it in the same hour. People share what they are asked to share.
Then post a real photo of real people with the site open on a phone. That one works best of all.
QR code how-to
Download the QR code and test it with your own phone before printing. Put it:
- On a card at the welcome table.
- In the bulletin.
- On the back of the chairs or the pew rack.
- On the screen before service starts.
Point it at your main site address, not a deep page, so it never breaks.
Print card idea
A business-card-size print with your logo on the front and the QR code on the back, plus "Plan your visit, give, or send a prayer request." Order 250 from any online printer. Hand one to every first-time guest.
